Waterman Florida Hospital
Tavares, Florida
This 117-acre integrated medical campus, containing a new 353,000 square foot hospital with 250 beds and 46,000 square feet of medical office space, specialty centers, assisted living, and retail support burnishes Adventist Health System's image and is a credit to the city's architecture. The hospital is designed to create a hotel atmosphere, in which patients are treated like guests. The clover-leaf shape of the patient towers, as well as the corridors and support areas, help minimize infection and and maximize patient and family space, while enhancing caregiver services.
Project Cost: $94,200,000
