Slated for completion in mid-2011, SAG Medical Center, a general acute care hospital, represents the best in intelligent, contemporary architectural design. A visually striking structure, this 55,000 square meter, 153-bed medical center allows for future expansion and incorporates evidence-based design to enhance patient comfort, care, and healing. The bed tower also includes creative design features that maximize staff efficiency and functionality. The project takes advantage of its desert environment by incorporating photovoltaic cells on roofs, most of which are also covered with local desert plants. Overall, this ultra-modern facility offers a state-of-the-art medical care delivery system, while meticulously satisfying the needs of patients, staff, and families.
